Fancy - Thursday, May 8, 2008
Fancy
6"x6"
I painted outside on my front porch for the last few days. These roosters are part of a new series of small paintings of roosters and chickens from my visit last spring to Blackrock Farm in Kennebunkport. For Fine Feathers, I used Wallis Belgian Mist professional grade sanded paper. For Fancy, I used my usual orange-tinted museum grade Wallis paper. I do like the effect and tone of the Belgian mist paper. I'll have to get more Belgian mist paper! I used it for the first time last year during my Wyoming trip. Struttin' was done on my usual orange-tinted Wallis paper.     Comments
