This soft pastel painting of 'Snoop' was commissioned by his 'mom.' I don't usually paint animals in landscapes. I'll be the first one to tell you they aren't my forte, and I am not good at them. But this place has special meaning for the owner and her dog, so I gave it a try, and am pleased with the results. So was Steph! Snoop is an adopted rescue, 90 lbs, and about 8 years old. His 'mom' takes him to the dog park and swimming, which he loves as you can see! [...]
