Fresh Catch Art Junk Journal

‘Fresh Catch’ - One of a kind, hand-made, lobster inspired Art Junk Journal.

Assorted materials were used including recycled, repurposed, altered or handmade papers.  The cover is made with a recycled muffin mix box covered with handmade, rice paper embellished with an image of one of my original lobster paintings. It has a hand-bound pamphlet-stitch spine with beads.

The book measures 7 inches high by 5.25 inches wide and 1.5 inches thick with 21 sheets, creating 88 pages. Images include plenty of lobsters, crabs, koi fish, seahorses, buoys, whale tails…

Full of original collages, 3 lobster recipes, prints of my original artwork, machine stitching, 4 pockets, 2 flip-open and 2 drop-down decorated pages for writing, plus 44 decorated ruled pages, with gelli printed, original drawings and  mixed media collages.

Here are some photos of the completed pages…
